Frieda- New Fashion Style Icon!

Fame touches Frieda as a new fashion style icon. The reach of “Slumdog Millionaire” has propelled Mumbai girl Freida Pinto into instant fame with the former model going from anonymity to international celebrity within a span of few months. Fashion bible Vogue has lauded her as a style icon for her fashion choices at the coveted red carpet events attended by her.

The 24-year-old actress features in a smouldering new shoot for the Indian edition of Vogue magazine, which brands her as a “style icon”. The Vogue cover emerged just hours after it was revealed that Frieda is lined up to star in Woody Allen’s next film.

Allen moved quickly to secure the services of the 24-year-old Pinto, the latest in a long line of female muses featured in his films, including actresses like Scarlett Johansson and Diane Keaton. Pinto will star alongside Hollywood stars Josh Brolin, Naomi Watts and Anthony Hopkins in what will only be her second film.Filming will start in London this summer after the success of Allen’s latest hit Vicky Cristina Barcelona , which won actress Penelope Cruz her first Oscar.

I watched Slumdog and it was really a good depiction of those who are underprivileged who lives amidst the booming India in today's world. It is very sad to see children growing up in those condition and we can only hope things do get better in future.

Thanks for dropping in my blog. Your blog is very interesting too.
