Happy Independence Day

India is celebrating its independence day 2009 today in a grand manner as usual. India is one of the fast growing nations where its growth is diversified in many fields. On the occasion of India's 62nd Independence Day, our confident Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh sent out a positive Independence Day message that India had self faith, political stability and economic strength to march towards “a golden future.

An impregnable ground-to-air security apparatus has been put in place in the capital, especially near the Red Fort where Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will unfurl the tri-colour and address the nation for the sixth consecutive time on Saturday morning. Besides Red Fort, intense vigil will be maintained at key installations like Parliament complex, international airport, railway stations, inter-state bus terminals and Metro stations. Localities around Red Fort have been sanitised and informers have been deployed to keep a check on movement of anti-national elements. Specialised units like Quick Reaction Teams, SWAT and Vajra are being deployed.

Wish you all Indians a very happy independence day. Jai Hind! India Rockz!
